Expanded usage rights
If you’re looking to use Veeam in your hosting environment or to provide Veeam-powered BDR services, the first step is to join the VCSP program. While the Veeam EULA (end user license agreement) limits usage of Veeam software to your own data, VCSP membership and licenses remove this restriction. So you can use Veeam products – including free Veeam products – to deliver services to your customers.
Here are a few examples of how VCSP partners are using their expanded usage rights:
- Hosted VMs protected with Veeam: including hosted private cloud, managed cloud, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Hosted applications protected with Veeam: including Software as a Service (SaaS) and offerings from application service providers (ASPs).
- Business services running on VMs protected with Veeam: such as sales tax processing, ecommerce, document delivery, etc.
Zero competition from Veeam
Today, many customers want to utilize the cloud for backup and disaster recovery (BDR), and others want to offload BDR to a service provider all together. Veeam’s strategy is to partner with cloud and service providers, who are the true experts in delivering cloud and managed services. Choose OPEX, CAPEX or both
Veeam offers both monthly rental and perpetual VCSP licenses so that you can choose the licensing option that best fits your business model. Choose from all rental, all perpetual or a mix of both. For example, use rental licenses for the variable part of your business and perpetual licenses for long-term contracts.
Transact a little, a lot, or not at all
Free to join, no obligation to buy. Your level in this tiered program is determined by the number of VMs that you protect or manage with Veeam. Even if you decide you do not need paid versions of Veeam products at this time, you’re welcome to join the program and use Veeam’s free tools in your service offerings.
